Decentralized Voices, Cohort X Applications are officially open today! 

This program amplifies community voices in @Polkadot & Kusama governance by delegating Web3 Foundation’s voting power to trusted delegates who act as a shield against bad-faith proposals while bringing diverse regional and technical insights. 

Cohort X is a major upgrade: more delegate seats but less voting power per delegate to prevent concentration, and a new DV-Light track for expert guardians giving informed votes on specific topics without full delegation. 

Strict accountability rules ensure transparency and prevent conflicts of interest, including the “one-delegate-one-human” policy and swift removal for bad actors. 

Strong track record in @Polkadot or Kusama OpenGov is required to apply by August 5th.
