Here's the tea: President Trump toured the Fed HQ reconstruction site with Chair Powell. 👀  Trump handed Powell a bill for $XXX billion! 😳  "What can I say?" he quipped. 

Trump wants those interest rates LOWER, but Powell & the FOMC have other plans.  📉

Trump claims no tension, but the tension is palpable, folks! 🤨 "We would save a trillion dollars a year" if rates were lower, Trump stated.  Is this a power play for the next Fed chair? 🤔  Will the Fed remain independent?
