It would be physically impossible. If data centers were the bottleneck, for starters, $IREN would already have a hyperscaler financing their projects to make sure they get the capacity as soon as possible, don’t you think? Data center energy demand isn’t even going to be what puts the most strain on the grid in the coming years, according to the IEA.
