So you must have seen that @letsCatapult is built on @HyperliquidX all over the timeline, but do you know how $HYPE is integrated into the whole system? 

On Catapult, $HYPE functions as the economic backbone and growth engine of the whole ecosystem

The token itself serves X purposes, which are:

> They are used as base pairing assets for all tokens launched on catapult. Every new token launched gets permanently paired with $HYPE

> $HYPE is used as the contribution currency for bonding curves, just the same way $SOL is the contribution currency on Pumpfun
