reasons for this are a bit subtle and intuitive but I'd attribute it to:

- the mellow green color everywhere. blends well with green in orderbook and candles. only X main colors on entire site

- the frequency of the orderbook flash is hypnotizing, and well placed near the order form to encourage action

- subtle flashing on the ticker header at a lower frequency than OB
