According to The Telegraph, a single phone call from Polish FM Radoslaw Sikorski pushed Trump to unblock military aid for Ukraine.

On July 4, after a massive Russian missile attack on Kyiv damaged the Polish consulate, Sikorski spoke with Keith Kellogg, the U.S. envoy for Ukraine and Russia. Kellogg then called Trump, telling him a NATO consulate was hit.

Trump reversed his July X decision to suspend aid and agreed to send Patriots to defend Kyiv, assuring Zelensky of U.S. support.
