I'm seeing some valid concern on the essence & politics of GMOs, especially through the lens of the economic well-being of our agriculturalists 

And I also understand futurist standpoints, esp on caloric progress & productivity 

But there's also a lot of poor analysis thrown out too that should be rightfully corrected (re: likening it to venom & the more extreme talking about “mark of the beast”/weapon of control)
