Am I the only competent person in the US that can pour gas from a gas can? 
I hate the new designs that don't have vents because they're not fast enough which means I'm left holding the SOB up longer but I actually like the triggers that allow me to get the nozzle into the tank without spilling fuel all over my mower, trimmer, edger, 4-wheeler, saw mill, etc. Most of those have tanks directly over the motors or attached to the motors. 

About 15-20 years ago my old neighbor had her son catch on fire when he was refilling their push mower and spilled gas on the motor and his pants, he almost died, so I see the safety benefits of the triggers also. 

Just allow them to be vented FFS
