The Chief of Uukwambi Traditional Authority, Ndilimani Iipumbu and his council have called upon the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation to provide airtime, especially on the radio, for them to advocate and communicate issues about culture and customary law. 

Iipumbu says the lack of limited platforms in the media fraternity threatens the existence, perseverance, and maintenance of culture, which is essential for future generations. 

He made the call to the NBC management that held a stakeholder engagement at his Onamega residence in the Omusati Region.
