Russia’s only aircraft carrier, the troubled Admiral Kuznetsov, may be scrapped, according to VTB chief Andrey Kostin.

He says repairs no longer make sense due to the ship’s age (40+ years) and cost. The vessel, damaged by fire in 2022, is now docked in Murmansk.
