And so, at the very beginning the sentiment was so-so for the pumpfan, about XX% of all people did not take part in the sale according to various polls

Smart money and retail both jumped into the presale and managed to 1.7-2X on almost any size.

Then, when $pump started ripping, sentiment quickly flipped bullish. Everyone expected a sharp fast dump, but it didn’t come - so they FOMO’d into longs. That’s when the first liquidation wave hit.

Despite getting wiped, sentiment stayed euphoric. People still believed @pumpdotfun was the next big thing and aped back in - only to get liquidated again.

Lesson here - the crowd never wins.
