Here we have an institution stuck in the 1950s, clinging to outdated models and old-school thinking, while the world races ahead into the digital age. Instead of embracing blockchain, AI, and the technological revolution that could actually modernize finance and society, they cling to their archaic reliance on BLS data and outdated policies. Meanwhile, the economy is drowning in debt, debt-to-GDP soaring past 125%, yet their fears about tariffs aren’t even supported by basic economic theory or data. With 1000 PhDs seems no one at the Fed has read “Art of the Deal” and continually take President Trump literally. They’re more concerned about sounding tough than actually understanding the damage they’re doing. And just before a Presidential election, they cut interest rates by XX basis points, as if trying to buy favor. Their own data points to the absurdity of their policy, extreme positive real Federal Funds Rate, which is actually doing more harm than good, yet they ignore the signs. It’s one massive boondoggle: an institution so blind to the 21st century that it might as well be living in a time capsule. The Fed’s refusal to evolve isn’t just incompetence; it’s a deliberate sabotage of progress, all while lining their pockets and maintaining their outdated power.
