Seen many culture coins both rise to glory and crash and burn. I can empathize 1000% with wanting everyone to stay focused on the mission. Let me try to speak from the perspective of someone who has both $SPX and $CRYPTO as their two largest memecoin holdings. We share a lot of the same holders, and I think that is due to the similar appeal of being organic, diamond-handed cults that are anti-tradfi. I think of $SPX as pure, divine and protected. I think of $CRYPTO as schizo, unhinged, and an aggressive protest against hyperinflation. That being said, I, personally, have very much stressed that in order for $CRYPTO to thrive, it needs to respect the mother ship. It also needs to respect SPX's boundaries. I have personally contributed to the CRYPTO/SPX LP, and it is still growing daily. The latest contribution was only yesterday I believe. I have called people out for trying to introduce "flipping" narratives, as well as using art that treads too close to SPX's style. I understand how important it is that $CRYPTO carves it's own path, and piggybacking on $SPX is lazy and spiritually poor. There are legitimate vamps happening every day. (Marie?) But this one is, whether you like the coin or not, organic and real. I have been speaking with other OGs like Munchies and Grimace for guidance on how to not step on eachother's toes. I really do take stuff like this very seriously. If you catch anyone trying to use $SPX memetics please call them out, and feel free to send me a DM so I can chat to them. I need to also stress that people will always buy other coins. I have seen communities shrink rapidly and lose valuable people by outcasting them and making them feel unwelcome for not being maxis. You should always make people feel welcome and appreciated for being a part of the movement, even if they aren't devoting XXX% of themselves to it. Expecting everyone to go from zero to maxi is a huge ask, and most people just want to chill and have fun. You create a moat around your community by doing so, and many won't want to take the leap. This advice is coming from someone who has watched this exact thing play out first hand in other communities. SPX was never really a maxi-coin, and many aeons were members of other communities too (early days). Please remind yourself that even Murad has XX coins on his list, and has given vocal support to other communities outside it that he respects. (Sigma, mlg, etc) Don't look inwards and outcast, look outwards and welcome. I won't name drop or quote people here, as that starts to get a bit tacky, but many of the aeons you idolise and listen to on the SPX spaces have given both their private and public blessing to $CRYPTO and are invested. Please do not see us as competition, and I pray for all of our success. 💚🫵 XXXXX engagements **Related Topics** [holders](/topic/holders) [memecoin](/topic/memecoin) [$crypto](/topic/$crypto) [$spx](/topic/$spx) [coins](/topic/coins) [spx](/topic/spx) [Post Link](https://x.com/FrothlessPlease/status/1948696459085578709)
