Following the tragic news of Gary Dunham’s passing we send our deepest sympathies to Gary’s family and loved ones. Gary was a beloved member of the Club and was responsible for more smiles at the Club than anyone, as he brought warmth and kindness to our beloved Club mascot as Norris the Knight.

Gary was a long standing fan, volunteer and friend to many. He was part of the York RLFC matchday from the Huntington Stadium days and was a popular character with many that knew him.

Our deepest condolences go to Sue and his young son Bailey. As a Club we will support them and mark Gary’s life and contribution to York RLFC.

Black arm bands will be worn tonight in his memory and Norris the Knight will be retired in honour of Gary’s memory.
