I think the Yankees have ridden out too many of the highs and lows of Spencer Jones to not at least see what he has in pinstripes at the MLB level. 

But either way, the decision time is now. His value is at an all-time high. If the Yankees believe in his bat, they need to hold onto him. If they don’t, they need to trade him now.

He’s a controversial prospect and he could either be late-career Joey Gallo, Aaron Judge or anywhere in between. You could make a logical argument for all those outcomes. 

The Yankees need to decide which of those they think is most likely, asses Jones’ trade value against it and make a decision at the deadline.
