Turkish FM Hakan Fidan will host first meeting of Balkan Peace Platform on Saturday in Istanbul, according to Turkish foreign ministry sources:

- The meeting is expected to be attended at level of foreign ministers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Serbia, and at the level of deputy foreign minister from Albania
- The platform was established under Türkiye’s leadership with the participation of several Balkan countries
- It aims to enhance dialogue, mutual trust, and cooperation among the countries of the region and to produce lasting solutions to regional issues
