Student politics plays a crucial role in democratic development, but when hijacked by militant networks, it becomes a tool of indoctrination. The recent killing of Sufyan Baloch, a former UMT student expelled for suspicious activities, has brought this disturbing reality to light.

His case exposes the strategic link between Fitna-al-Hindustan’s militant outfits, BLA and BLF, and their soft front, the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC).

These groups actively profile politically conscious Baloch students, especially those inclined toward resistance narratives.

Based on this profiling, students are filtered in two groups. Those skilled in perception management and rhetoric are absorbed into BYC to shape separatist discourse under the guise of human rights; those with aggressive or emotionally volatile tendencies are funneled into the militant ranks of BLA or BLF.

This systematic grooming hijacks legitimate student grievances, undermines student's intellectual autonomy, and transforms informed activism into weaponized ideology.

As a result, an entire generation of Baloch youth is being misled into serving foreign-backed agendas that offer no justice, no reform, only instability, exploitation, and loss.
