That’s a huge jump in leverage while price dropped from $118K → $115K today. 

This combo is dangerous. Why?

• High OI + sharp price drop = traders are aggressively betting both ways.

• Market makers love to hunt liquidity when leverage stacks up.

• Big moves (liquidation cascades) often follow such OI spikes.

Either we see a short squeeze back above $118K...
or a liquidation flush to hunt late longs.

Expect volatility.
