#KENYA: KeNGeN TOPS EPRA RANKINGS IN DAILY ELECTRICITY SUPPLY
Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen) has emerged as the leading supplier of electricity in Kenya, contributing over XX% of the country’s daily power generation, according to the latest data from the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).
According to EPRA, KenGen’s dominance is driven by its robust portfolio of renewable energy sources, including geothermal, hydro, wind, and solar, which have helped stabilize supply amid rising national demand. 
The company’s market share reportedly reached 62.24%, far surpassing other producers such as Lake Turkana Wind Power and OrPower.
EPRA’s report also highlights regional consumption trends, with Nairobi, Coast, and Rift Valley leading in electricity use.
