that statement, which Acosta later repudiated in the OPR report, is from a journalist at second- or third-hand. it's very doubtful Acosta ever said that, or that if he did say it, he wasn't just bullshitting in interviews with the trump transition team. 

there are like five articles of faith with respect to epstein, and everybody argues as if proving one of them proves all the others. I just can't see how that's reasonable.
