Europe’s AI lag: US tech giants (Nvidia, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta & Broadcom) have a combined market cap of ~$18.8 trillion, while Europe’s top seven firms—SAP, Novo Nordisk, Hermès, ASML, LVMH, Roche & Nestlé—are worth about $XXX trillion and most are in traditional sectors . Jamie Dimon says Europe has fallen from XX % of US GDP to XX % over 10–15 years because of over‑regulation and fragmentation . If the EU wants to win in AI and business, it needs to cut red tape, foster a true single market and unleash private investment.
