DAY XX OF YAPPING SOMNIA TILL LEADERBOARD

Ladies and Gentlemen the weekend is upon us once again so before we begin touching grasses let us talk about Executions and which model @Somnia_Network chooses .

Blockchains employ various transaction execution models to process the massive flow of operations across their decentralized networks , the most common models are:

🟪 Sequential execution, where transactions are processed one after another in a single order.

🟪 Parallel execution, which attempts to speed up processing by running unrelated transactions simultaneously on multiple CPU cores.

While parallel execution promises higher throughput, it is often unreliable under real world load. When many users interact with the same smart contracts such as during hyped NFT mints or sudden trading surges , transactions become interdependent. This state breaks the efficiency of parallel processing, leading to bottlenecks and stalled performance precisely when speed is needed most. Sequential execution, while consistent, can also be slow unless deeply optimized, so striking the right balance between speed and reliability has become a challenge for most blockchain projects.

Somnia distinguishes itself by using Sequential Execution model, standing apart from chains that rely on traditional parallel execution. Instead of dividing transactions across multiple CPU cores, Somnia runs transactions sequentially on a single core, boosting speed through deep optimization and advanced CPU architecture techniques.
