Nope.

Sen. Ruben Gallego (D‑AZ) introduced a resolution via unanimous consent to demand that DOJ release Epstein-related documents.

That effort was objected to by Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R‑OK), who blocked it—arguing it was “political theater” and limited to court documents.

Democrats did not block this resolution, it was a GOP senator who objected.

Mullin later proposed a separate resolution calling for unsealing state and federal court documents, with redactions to protect victims. That measure also moved forward under GOP control.

At the same time, House Democrats, led by Rep. Ro Khanna and Summer Lee, along with some Republicans, backed efforts such as the Epstein Files Transparency Act and a subpoena request.

The House Rules Committee and GOP leadership blocked those moves, not Democrats.
