The Merinos Livestock, a Comoros-flagged carrier en route from Somalia to Saudi Arabia, was intercepted on July 24, 2025, in the Red Sea near Yemen.

 A small boat fired shots and ordered it to Mokha, where Yemeni Coast Guard detained it briefly on suspicion.
