back in 2021/22 there was no way around opensea. it was a love/hate relationship tbh, as so many times the website crashed during hyped mints or generally high volume days and inevitable people lost money because they just couldnt get their infra right fast enough.

that + the shady shit some of their staff pulled by featuring projects after they loaded their bags left a sour taste for many, ngl

thing is, i actually like the new design and the site works smooth now and is easy to use. but the prolonged tease of a token just to keep market share high and have people wash-trading is in all honesty not a great move.

magic eden is more transparent in this regard + they did more for early btc eco which makes it a lot easier to support them, at least for me.
