I had a great time with my friend Mel last night, but she hit a nerve, she said I had sadness in my eyes, I told her about what happened to my grand-niece, whom she knows too. 

I hadn't realised how deep that had affected me personally, I told her I had what felt like a block of ice in my tummy that would not go away, and an anger I could not subdue, I broke down... 😭

She's 6'3 and I'm 5'1, she gave me such a big warm hug, I felt like a child again.

Rape is a multi victim crime, it should warrant the most serious of punishments.
