India-UK FTA and Auto Sector:
No Tariff Concessions for Budget EVs & Small Cars:
India has excluded budget electric vehicles (EVs) and small cars from tariff concessions under the India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA).

Luxury & High-End EVs to Benefit:

Only luxury and premium EVs, hybrids, and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles from the UK will benefit from reduced import duties.
