We need to stop the Hun Sen regime from playing dangerous games with Thailand.
Paris Peace Agreement 1991 is the only legal shield to protect the dignity of Cambodia.
But the Hun Sen regime does not want the Paris peace agreement to be implemented, because it also requires Cambodia to respect human rights and democratic principles that the Hun Sen regime continues to brutally violate.
So Hun Sen must step down in order to form a legitimate government that reflects the will of Khmer people, the only institution that can restore democracy and protect Cambodia's livelihood benefits through peace and diplomacy.

The chronic story with Thailand nowadays is not a national story but a pure thief story because Hun Sen regime can survive because of Sok Pan bribe from international thieves who are doing internet fraud activities (Internet scam) along the Khmer-Thai border. Thai authorities are getting rid of these thieves, making Hun Sen confused, because crushing the thieves is beating Hun Sen regime's kitchen and blocking the regime's nose from breathing.

The Paris Peace Agreements: The Only Legitimate Shield to Defend Cambodia’s Territorial Integrity

Paris, July 24, 2025

In light of rising tensions between Cambodia and Thailand, the Cambodia National Rescue Council (CNRC) reminds the public that the most powerful weapon Cambodia possesses to defend its territorial integrity is not military, but legal and diplomatic: the 1991 Paris Peace Agreements on Cambodia, which remain in force.

These Agreements, signed by XX countries—including all five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council—impose a binding obligation on the international community to ensure respect for Cambodia’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The CNRC therefore calls for the immediate reconvening of the International Paris Conference on Cambodia, as explicitly permitted under Article XX of the Agreements, by formally addressing this request:
• to the Secretary-General of the United Nations,
• and to the two co-presidents of the 1991 Conference: France and Indonesia.

If the authoritarian Hun Sen regime refuses to resort to this diplomatic instrument to protect our national territory, it is because the Paris Agreements also require Cambodia to respect human rights and democratic principles, which this regime continues to blatantly violate.

In that case, Hun Sen must step down to make way for a legitimate government that reflects the will of the people—the only entity capable of restoring democracy and defending Cambodia’s vital interests through peaceful and diplomatic means.

The Cambodian people must not be held hostage by a regime in distress, whose very survival is now threatened by the global crackdown on transnational “online scam” criminal networks on which it financially depends.

It would be extremely dangerous to allow this irresponsible regime to exploit tensions with Thailand as a means of external diversion, risking serious regional destabilization in Southeast Asia.

Peace in the region depends on full respect for international law and the complete implementation of the Paris Peace Agreements.
