The Madras High Court has granted permission to Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) to construct a skywalk linking Phase I and Phase II at Vadapalani and to carry out sewage pipeline work through the OSR land of Trellis South Flats. Justice M Dhandapani directed CMRL to complete the project by May 2026 without causing inconvenience to residents. The XXXXXX sq ft land, gifted to CMDA in 2016 and later transferred to CMRL, offers the only feasible route to connect the damaged sewage line to Arcot Road.
