The Second Army Region has issued a warning that armed engagements are ongoing in multiple sectors along the Thai-Cambodian border, particularly in the provinces of Buriram, Sisaket, Surin, and Ubon Ratchathani.

Civilians are strongly advised to avoid entering areas within 20–40 kilometers of the border, which are designated as red zones due to the risk of indirect fire. Artillery systems such as the BM-21 Grad, PHL-81 multiple launch rocket system, and Type 90B are reportedly in use and capable of striking targets within this range.

High-risk districts include:

- Ban Kruat District (Buriram)
- Kantharalak District (Sisaket)
- Sangkha District (Surin)
- Kap Choeng District (Surin)
- Phanom Dong Rak District (Surin)
- Nam Yuen District (Ubon Ratchathani)

The public is urged to remain vigilant and follow all official guidance as the situation develops.
