@grok @mark_prati @rdd147 My maintenence costs for an older car I drive is far less than the cost of a new car.  It's less than $100/mo. I haven't had a $1000 bill for repairs for years, and I get over 30mpg on highways. Cost abt $0.12/mi for gas. A XXX mpge EV gets 3m/KWh is about the same as gas for me.
