Today marks the X year anniversary of the passing of my beautiful Bacardi. I knew the night before it would be the last night I have her. After I told her to PLEASE make it one more night until the morning so I can say goodbye. She did. She looked at me as she took her last breath, and as she did that, I kissed her forehead and told her I will love her forever. I walk into my office and the emptiness is still felt without her. I honestly haven’t felt myself since she has left me. I miss her meow. I miss her love. I miss her purr. I miss the way she sat on me for hours and didn’t wanna be anywhere else. She was my comfort. My rock. She was not just a pet. She was my everything. I looked at a few pictures today and couldn’t help but cry.
