I am not a tailgater. I am a slow and cautious driver. He had the back hatch of his Wrangler open and was digging in it while yelling, so I thought he was looking for a weapon. I was cornered against my car, so I ran at him and I pushed him away from his Wrangler. He had no weapon in his hands. He starts saying he's going to call the police. I told him what he could suck. It ended with a handshake and we both agreed we overreacted. But I'm not convinced I overreacted. A cop would have pulled his gun in that situation. Shouldn't we be allowed to protect ourselves when facing an aggressive threat? Sometimes acting first is the only way to protect yourself.
