DHS, NIH, and HHS had their data exposed after there was a breach in Microsoft's SharePoint service, which the agencies utilize.

Microsoft claims that Chinese hackers were responsible for the breach after they deployed ransomware on the storage platform. China has denied knowledge of the cyberattack.

All contracts with Microsoft should be reviewed.
