I guess some of you have been under the wrong impression. I am an extremely monogamous person when I am in a relationship. I really enjoy monogamous relationships. But, during those times when I haven't found anyone worth committing to, I'm perfectly happy having non committed, fun, casual sex. This has always seemed entirely normal to me. Not everyone who is compatible enough for sex is also compatible enough for a relationship. My standards for relationships are way higher than my standards for casual sex. This is perfectly logical, and has been entirely normal within my generation and subcultural social circle. I understand this method isn't for everyone, but a whole lot of people get entirely too freaked out about it.
