Now we have @JonHeyman also confirming that the Yankees have talked to the Pirates about Oneil Cruz.

This comes after @JackCurryYES sort of threw cold water on the links Eugenio Suárez, Ryan McMahon and Ke’Bryan Hayes to the Yankees yesterday.

It seems like a Brian Cashman move, 100%. Almost identical to the Jazz Chisholm Jr. situation from last year:
