AEK Athens supporters displayed numerous Palestinian flags and chanted “Fuck you Israel - Viva Palestine” during their home match against the Israeli club Hapoel Be’er Sheva. The chants were reportedly led by AEK’s left-wing fan group, Original 21, known for its political solidarity actions.

AEK Athens won the first leg of the UEFA Europa Conference League second qualifying round match 1–0.
