A major challenge in web3 has always been the difficulty of storing large amounts of data. Storing directly onchain is prohibitively expensive, while relying on offchain or web2 storage solutions always comes with the risk of data being lost or links breaking over time.

In addition, when computations are performed offchain, users have no choice but to trust the results without being able to verify them independently.

The combination of @SuccinctLabs and @irys_xyz addresses both of these issues in a seamless way.

Succinct transforms any offchain computation into a portable, trustless ZK proof, allowing anyone to independently verify the result without the need for blind trust.

At the same time, Irys ensures that these proofs and the corresponding outputs are stored permanently, eliminating the risk of missing data or broken references.

With this integrated approach, developers can finally have both permanent storage and fully verifiable results, removing trust assumptions and data loss from the equation, and letting them focus entirely on building great applications.
