WATCH: PNP Chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III jogs in the rain as part of his preparations for his proposed boxing match against acting Davao City Mayor Baste Duterte set on Sunday. 

Torre jogged XX laps on the PNP Oval in Camp Crame earlier this morning, according to Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo.

Duterte challenged Torre to a fistfight, which the national police chief accepted and proposed turning into a charity event for flood victims.  According to Torre, the Rizal Memorial Coliseum was already being set up for match.

The Davao mayor jabbed back at the PNP chief, daring Torre to get President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to have all elected officials tested for drug use before he agrees to a charity boxing match.

If Duterte doesn't show up, Torre said Sunday's event will be used to distribute aid to those affected by the southwest monsoon. | 🎥: PNP via @jasonsigalesINQ
