Paperwhite Supervga (Commodore). 2400 baud modem. 1989-90 ish. MS Dos XXX if memory serves. Pretty sure I still have install sets for every dos version from XXX onward. My XXX upgrade was on a headlands chipset with an extra 1mb xms memory onboard. Made BBS touring and gaming pretty cool. XXX upgrade was also a top of the line stepup. By then I was running a multinode BBS and coding door games. First XXX I was finally into an NEC flatscreen monitor, true black. was on my 5th programming language and was running a multinode network Linux, XXX bsd, Dos/Windows, and OS/2. Was running dot matrix, inkjet/bubblejet rack and a Military grade HP plotter for outputs. True - Geek but it comes with the territory. 😜 XX engagements **Related Topics** [gaming](/topic/gaming) [dos](/topic/dos) [Post Link](https://x.com/havoc_211/status/1948531820531790018)
