#OTD in 1952: a Leduc.022, an experimental ramjet test plane, is damaged in a belly landing in Toulouse (France) after colliding on release with its Languedoc launch aircraft. Crews were unharmed. Research on these ramjets continued till the program’s cancellation in late 1958.
