this is a lot of words for saying tokens in games generally don't work
imo it's not about "earning destroys the game", it's how players earn in a game
tokens are not great for that, they feel artificial, teams have locked tokens, investors have locked tokens, farmers get an airdrop
... there are market makers and exchanges, it immediately feels like a job when you offer tokens in exchange for playing a game, especially if it's pay to win
but it can also be different
for example i'm playing Gigaverse daily and get like $20... and it's all player drive... if players stop buying skins and resources the value will significantly drop
it's not propped up by a token
i'm also making a few $ every week playing Counter-Strike by getting cases and skins
also not propped up by anything, fully player driven and based on demand
imagine Valve would own XX% of the supply of skins and is just waiting to dump it on players, would be insane
XXXXX engagements
