Zebec Turns Payroll into a New Asset Class with Algorand

What does it look like when you tokenize payroll?

Earned Wage Access (EWA) allows employees to access their paycheck in advance for a fee.

EWA providers hold large payroll receivables that generate yield in the form of access fees paid by employees.

These assets can be tokenized on a blockchain in the same manner as U.S. treasuries or other debt instruments.

This has never been done before, and Zebec is pioneering it with PayBridge and WageLink while also exploring this concept with Algorand.

This represents an entirely new asset class in credit.
