I just want to say this one thing. People absolutely ridiculed Haaland. Said he’ll flop in the prem. Said he’s a bulldozer. Said he has a horrible touch. Said he won’t replicate what he did in the Bundesliga the same way in the prem. They made up lies about him, judged him and didn’t give him a chance and I remember vividly how the moment he started scoring for City every single person on here was like “how did we let City get him?”

This is by no means a comparison of abilities because I believe Haaland is the best striker in the world. But look at Gyökeres and how he has to keep proving himself and he’s still being written off despite the facts and eye test being there and make the links
