I went to HR. They "conducted an interview" but concluded no evidence of wrongdoing. I said "why should I work somewhere that tacitly approves of bullying and harassments when I'm valuable and can work anywhere?" For reference, my wife witnessed the behavior. HR never spoke with my wife "because it is not standard procedure." It does not matter how valuable you are to the company. If trouble is attached to you in any way, shape, or form, the company would rather you leave. At least, that's HR's view. Every one up to the executive VP of my division asked me to stay.
