@notcapnamerica My standard of expense is such that $30K for a wedding seems generous. 

Then I consider what weddings among the well-to-do have morphed into. You can't rent a unicorn to ride into a scale model of Neuschwanstein on $30K, much less the Dom Perignon fountain for the reception.
