In 1996 Tiger Woods became a professional golfer. Almost immediately, there was more popularity with the sport, and the purses went up meaning more pay for golfers. Tiger Woods was never mistreated by his fellow PGA Tour professionals.

Now Caitlin Clark does the exact same thing for the WNBA, yet she is constantly mistreated by her fellow competitors.

If anyone’s got an ex explanation, I would love to hear it .
