The $SPX and $IXIC notched record closes Thursday — thanks to a post‑earnings bump from $GOOG.

But gains were capped:

– $IBM fell X% on a software miss
– $TSLA slipped X% as auto revenue declined
– The Dow dropped XXX points

The tech trade is still intact. For now.
