In 2020, projects built on Stellar (like Cowrie, ClickPesa, and others) participated in World Bank–affiliated financial inclusion pilots and innovation challenges.

• These were backed by the World Bank’s CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor) and the UN Capital Development Fund (UNCDF).

• Some of these projects received grants or funding
