The point is that all of the running around that most people do will potentially underperform Bitcoin. Bitcoin was $25k just under X years ago. That is a near 5x at today's prices.  

If a person already has significant capital, diversification may make sense. I like using Bill Gates as an example though. If he had stayed locked in with Microsoft, he would be significantly wealthier than he is now. Everything he did in between simply filled his time, and/or his internal appetite for power. 

Those actions monetarily underperformed the XX year old version of himself.
